Scalloptown in Winter

Taken in East Greenwich’s famous Scalloptown, the sailboat in the background of this landscape tells the story of how far a fisherman in New England is willing to go to get his catch and feed his family. The evergreen trees surrounding the entire view of the nearly frozen lake bring this piece to life while also providing an oddly serene feeling. The hazy, day of a cold Winter is told through the eyes of the lake and life surrounding the natural cycle of nature.
