Earthen Escape
Spring has moments of quiet beauty that we often miss in the busy and chaotic lives many of us live today. Capturing the tranquility of natural elemental and Earthen beauty in the forests is one of my favorite parts of being a nature photographer.
When I came across this secret hideaway in a dense forest in my native Rhode Island, I took some time to contemplate what meaning this future piece of work could bring to people. However, in the peace and stillness of the day resting before continuing to my work, I decided that the meaning of this piece to the individual viewer is not for me to decide.
As Confucious, started “Everything has beauty. Though not everyone can see it.” In the end, it is up to the individual heart to decipher a meaningful perspective on Earth’s gifts of wonderment and awe.
I hope to help get Mother Nature’s word out and provide understanding and a moment’s peace through my photographic art to one who needs it.
