Once Upon A Cliff
Every hiking adventure starts with the excitement and, anticipation of a worthwhile journey ahead. The journey, though worth every second spent among wildlife and ancient trees, ends with a gift from the great Mother herself.
This landscape piece is a favorite of mine because it was an unexpected gift at the end of a 6-mile journey through rocky terrain with my best friend and liver-spotted assistant Legend. The beauty of springtime in Connecticut with its charm and fairytale essence is seen through the childlike innocence of a baby cliff opening up to a dreamy blue sky and the crystal clear Atlantic Ocean.
