Sunrise Aurora Over the Atlantic

Captured with just a few clicks of the camera, the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean near the shores of Rhode Island can fascinate even the most practical souls. I called this piece an “aurora” because it reminded me of the Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights, in the breathtaking nighttime skies of the coldest regions in the world. The bright colors of this Northern Atlantic sunrise reflecting off the bitterly cold ocean create a sense of awe, wonder, and hope for good days ahead.
